Trinitarian No More (No. 1)

Several decades ago I repented of my sins and accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior and was born-again. I've been serving the Lord Jesus ever since then as faithfully as I could. A few years after I became a Christian, I began defending the doctrine of the Trinity until last year (2016) around October-November time frame. It took me over 30 years to figure out how wrong I was for accepting the Trinity.

With my new understanding of the nature of God, my love for God and Jesus did not diminish. In fact, I now have a better appreciation and confidence of who the true biblical almighty God is and his Son, given to humankind by God the Father so that "whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life" (John. 3:16, NIV).

My view is that the doctrine of the Trinity is not only unbiblical, but also illogical. I have lots of reasonswhich I believe are goodfor holding this view. Of course, I could be wrong because I'm only human with limited knowledge and understanding.

If you're a Trinitarian, maybe you can persuade me to believe the doctrine again. But maybe I can persuade you to abandon the Trinity. For many Trinitarians, discussing such matters can be very difficult and disturbing, especially if you dogmatically believe that belief in the Trinity is necessary for one's salvation and if people close to you—such as your family, relatives, or (church) friendsall firmly share your dogmatic belief.

Are you open to the possibility that the Trinity is false? If you are, I invite you to join me in discussing the details of my view. To that end, beginning June 1, 2017, I will present my reasons for abandoning the doctrine. I welcome well-thought out criticisms, seeking to have a respectful discussion. If you think I'm wrong in part or in whole, I sincerely ask that you please correct me in a civil fashion.

God bless in Jesus' name!
